0.1 Editor’s Draft, 27 October 2026

The first draft. Compared with the format as Ooidget UI implemented it:

• Added spec, extensionsUsed, extensionsRequired and extensions to component files, and bundles.
• Expressions are specified as ECMAScript with a defined scope and sandbox; env is new. ui gains focused, pointerType and shift (shift existed).
• Added rotate (rotary input) and context to behaviours, with wheel as the fallback for rotate.
• Added role and label for accessibility.
• Colours are CSS colours; design tokens follow the DTCG format, which Ooidget UI’s tokens already used.
• Added size classes and the fallback rules; fallback layers are new.
• Specified flex layout as a subset of CSS flexbox; justify is new.
• Motion is specified with CSS easing functions and springs.
